This is my favorite metallica album.  Released in 1988, this album containsShitloads of bass, face full of shred guitars and james voice has never been better.  The whole album is brilliantly made, designed, and written.  IT is not quite a srefined as Master of Puppets as far as producing goes (a low frequency hum throughout the whole album) but the songwriting is the best it has ever been for metallcica.  It contains the amazing song, "one" which has become the favorite song for people all over the world, and one of their most popular live performances.
